Dr. Grethel Millington is a highly trained prosthodontist dedicated to restoring smiles with precision, artistry, and compassion. Background & Education
Dr. Millington earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oakwood University before completing her Master of Science in Molecular and Developmental Biology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the UConn School of Dental Medicine.
She continued her advanced training at the VA New York Harbor Health Care Medical Center, where she completed a General Practice Residency followed by a specialty Residency in Prosthodontics, serving as Chief Resident in 2024.
Throughout her academic and clinical career, Dr. Millington has received numerous honors recognizing both her scholarly excellence and clinical achievements. She was inducted into the Phi Chi Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon and has earned multiple awards for clinical achievement in removable prosthodontics, periodontics, and restorative dentistry. Her research on dentin and alveolar bone mineralization has been nationally recognized, earning awards from the American Association for Dental Research and the Gordon Research Conference.
